DONATIONS & FUNDRAISER

Fundraising is critical to the success of the THS Instrumental Music Program. We strive to keep student fees affordable so that all students are able to participate in the instrumental music program of their choice. Our fundraising program is designed around a core of fundraisers that bring in the majority of needed funds.

Questions or comments related to donations and fundraising can be directed to the THSIMB at thsimbinfo@gmail.com

A word from our Boosters…

Tuscarora Instrumental Music Donation Drive

The award-winning Tuscarora Instrumental Music Program performs in numerous competitions, showcases, parades, and concerts throughout the school year. You can be proud that the students in the program are hardworking, dedicated, and of strong character. In order to continue with our strong tradition of excellence, we need support from members of the community.

As is the case with most public schools across the country, Tuscarora High School receives no funding from Frederick County Public Schools for the purchase and maintenance of instruments and other music needs. Therefore, it is the sole responsibility of the Tuscarora High School Instrumental Music Boosters, a not-for-profit organization led entirely by parent volunteers, to raise these funds.

Our goal is to fundraise to replace our aged and in use old instruments, add more instruments to support the growth in the program, replace our worn marching band uniforms, and support the general operations of the program. Currently, we are looking to add and replace several instruments in our low brass and low woodwinds, such as sousaphones and baritone saxophones. Also, our unforms are now past their 10th year and some are starting to show their age and need replacement. We are asking for your generous donations to assist us in making these goals a reality.

We need you, our THS music friends, families, and alumni, to help us continue the tradition of Titan Pride in our community by making a donation today. We thank you in advance for your consideration and hope that you will help us keep the rich tradition of having the Tuscarora Instrumental Music Program be a premier program in the state of Maryland.
